2014 Big Red Block Party
Are you game for a good time? Junior League of Omaha along with Honorary Chairs, Kris and Amy Brown, invite you to join us for football, food and fun on Saturday, October 4 as we kick off our 5th Annual Big Red Block Party!
We will broadcast the Nebraska Cornhuskers as they take on the Michigan State Spartans at Michigan State. The doors will open at 6:00pm at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine Street, Omaha with game time scheduled at 7:00pm. Guests will view the football game on six 10' big screens, enjoy a tailgate-themed buffet and desserts and have chance to walk away as winners with some of our amazing silent auction packages! Game day attire is encouraged for this adult-only event.

The Junior League of Omaha held its fourth annual Big Red Block Party on November 9, 2013, at the Scott Conference Center. Former Husker and NFL veteran, Steven Warren, and his wife Heidi were honorary chairs for the event. Over $29,000 was raised to support the League and its community projects.
"Heidi and I have worked with underserved youth in Omaha for over eight years and therefore value the work being done through A Book of My Own and Project Hope Pack, " said Warren.
A sell-out crowd of 350 local philanthropists, former Nebraska players and Husker fans watched Nebraska beat Michigan while they enjoyed a gourment tailgate buffet, silent auction, photo booth, dessert buffet and great raffle prizes. One lucky raffle winner, Ray Grace, received a blank Adidas football and the opportunity to have it signed by all the former Husker greats in attendance, including Steve Warren, Tony Veland, Mark Brungardt, Jammal Lord, Josh Bullocks and Rob Zatechka.
